Re Homing

We will happily re home any birds for you due to whatever circumstances.

This is dependent on aviary space and the health of the bird.

We do not judge people as to the reasons why they need to be re-homed, however any birds we feel have been mistreated we will take further action against.

Rescue

We at KG Hawks regularly rescue wild birds that have been injured and also birds bred in captivity which have been removed by the authorities.

IF you come across an injured bird of prey please contact us and we may either

• come and collect the bird for care and rehabilitation
• Advise of a closer rescue centre
• give advice over the phone until the bird can be taken to a rescue centre.

Please note during the breeding season members of the public tend to pick up baby owls from the floor and call.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU DO THIS.

Baby Owls regularly roost on the ground under the watchful eyes of their parents.
